About Karen MacKay
Dr. MacKay completed her undergraduate and medical degrees a the University of Utah, traveled to St. Louis to complete an internal medicine residency at Washington University before moving to Maryland to complete a combined research and clinical fellowship in nephrology at the National Institutes of Health and Johns Hopkins. After spending several additional years as a researcher at the National Institutes of Health she moved the WVU. At WVU she served as the director of the nephrology fellowship for over a decade and now serves as the chair of the admissions committee.
