Dr. Erik Olness is a Clinical Anesthesiologist within the School of Medicine of West Virginia University.  Dr. Olness was awarded his Doctorate Degree in May 2007, and completed his residency at West Virginia School of Medicine from July 2007- June 2011.  Following his residency completion, he joined the faculty of the Department of Anesthesiology as an Assistant Professor in July 2011.  He obtained time-limited certification with the American Board of Anesthesiology in October 2011 and board certification in Pediatric Anesthesiology in 2014.  His current rank is Assistant Professor.   Dr. Olness is the physician representative on the Ruby Memorial Hospital College of General Pediatric Surgeries.
