I was born and raised in Morgantown, WV. My father was an English professor for over 30 years at West Virginia University and my mother was an Entomologist who worked for nearly 20 years in the WVU Division of Plant and Soil Sciences. Two of my 5 sisters also graduated from West Virginia University with degrees in statistics and Medicine. I myself have earned 5 degrees from WVU including my BSN, MSN and PhD in Nursing. It goes without saying that my family and I are extremely grateful for the opportunities that we have taken advantage of throughout the years. We are truly Mountaineers!!!
