About Marilyn Smith
Dr. Smith is a clinical professor with a PhD in Nursing and board certified as a Psychiatric
Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has worked in various nursing areas for the past forty
years, including psychiatry and behavioral medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, and education. Her
roles in these areas have included staff nurse, counselor, administrator, and course coordinator.
Her clinical practice includes providing individual therapy and psychopharmacology medical management for patients with various DSM-V diagnoses.
