Ms. Coffman is a Program Manager for the Health Research Center and has been with the center since 2002.  She currently works on several projects within the Health Research Center helping to coordinate grant evaluation activities. Ms. Coffman holds a Bachelor's degree in History and was awarded the Master of Arts degree from Appalachian State University in Appalachian Studies in 2002. Ms. Coffman has a particular interest focusing on gender and minority studies in the Appalachian Region. In addition to her work with the Health Research Center, in 2019, she joined the West Virginia Prevention Research Center as the project manager for the Integrated Community Engagement Collaborative with Dr. Alfgeir Kristjansson.
