About Keith Zullig
Keith J. Zullig is Professor and Chair of the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences and Coordinator of the Social and Behavioral Sciences Ph.D. program.
He earned his M.S.P.H. and Ph.D. degrees in Health Promotion, Education, & Behavior from the Arnold School of Public Health at the University of South Carolina.
His research, which is primarily focused on adolescent quality of life research, substance use, and intervention research, has been funded by the US Department of Education (USDOE), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA). He has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles and authored numerous book chapters, many of which with students as co-authors.
Dr. Zullig is a Fellow of the American Academy of Health Behavior and the American School Health Association, and member of the of the American Public Health Association, International Society for Quality-of-Life Studies, and President of the National Executive Committee for Delta Omega. He is also presently a member of the Editorial Board for the Journal of Applied Quality of Life Research, American Journal of Health Behavior, and Health Behavior Research.
