About Kristen Dragan
Dr. Kristen Dragan is a Clinical Anesthesiologist within the School of Medicine of West Virginia University, She earned her Doctorate of Medicine from West Virginia University School of Medicine in May 2010. She completed her anesthesiology residency at WVU School of Medicine June 2015. In July 2015, Dr. Dragan joined the Anesthesiology faculty at WVU School of Medicine as an Instructor and was promoted last year to Assistant Professor. Dr. Dragan was board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology in April 2016. She serves as the Director of Off-Service Resident Education since April, 2016. In this capacity, she presents monthly lectures to off-service residents on introduction to anesthesia care, airway management, and pharmacology. She has also developed written educational materials on perioperative evaluations as well as basic airway evaluation and management for off-service resident education. Dr. Dragan provides a number of departmental services including being part of the Regional and Acute Pain (RAP) Team.
