Mrs. Sedney is a native of Pennsylvania. She attended West Virginia University. She started working in the Pediatric Clinic at WVU in January 2000. She became the Program Coordinator for the Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Program and the Neonatal Fellowship Program in September 2010. In the fall of 2016, she became C-TAGME certified and became the Program Administrator for both of these programs. She and her husband Dave enjoy traveling, spending time at the beach, and relaxing with their many friends.

Mrs. Sedney was recently elected to the office of President of the National Association of Medicine/Pediatric Program Administrators, effective July 1,2020.  This is quite an honor for not only Mrs. Sedney, but also for national recognition of WVU as an institution.
