About Osama Al-Omar
Osama Al-Omar, MD, has joined the pediatric urology staff at WVU Healthcare. Dr. Al-Omar has a special interest in pediatric urology including: external genitalia reconstructive surgery (hypospadias, undescended testes, hydrocele), fetal evaluation of urological anomalies (prenatal hydronehrosis), vesicoureteral reflux, UTI, ureteropelvic junction obstructions, spina bifida and neurogenic bladder, and kidney and bladder stones.
Dr. Al-Omar earned his medical degree at Aleppo University School of Medicine in Aleppo, Syria. He completed a urology residency at Tishreen Military Hospital in Damascus, Syria, and a pediatric urology fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
