About Pooya Heiraty
Dr. Pooya Heiraty is a Clinical Anesthesiologist within the School of Medicine of West Virginia University. Dr. Heiraty received his Doctorate of Medicine from Aureus University School of Medicine in 2012. Dr. Heiraty completed his Anesthesiology residency at West Virginia University from 2013 to 2016, where he served as Chief Resident in 2016. He joined the faculty of the Department of Anesthesiology as an Instructor in 2016. He is licensed with the West Virginia Board of Medicine and is Board Eligible with the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Heiraty is a member of the Resident Selection Committee and the Regional and Acute Pain Services.
