RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
Researcher in the lab of Dr. Susan Mayo Rankin, PhD (Summer 2009)
Experienced how the research process begins by performing experiments on insects. I did research on the harmful but legal chemical BPA, and how it affected the testes and ovaries of earwigs. This experience gave me a good outlook and appreciation on how the research process starts and how drugs will end up in clinical trials in my office someday.
