About Jennifer Turner
Jennifer Turner, M.D. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at West Virginia University School of Medicine. Originally from Beckley, WV, she completed both undergraduate studies and medical school at WVU. Dr. Turner finished residency in Internal Medicine at WVU in 2018 and an Endocrinology fellowship in 2021. She is focused on the education of both resident physicians and medical students in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Dr. Turner is passionate about education and also about patient care, serving on two committees which are directly involved with improving the care of patients in the hospital. She received the Department of Medicine Outstanding Housestaff Award during her second year of residency, and the Patient Care Award in her final year of residency. She is dedicated to the people of West Virginia and continues to deliver compassionate healthcare to the patients in her home state.

2017 Prevalence of obesity in adult Cystic Fibrosis patients in the state of West Virginia.
- To determine the prevalence of obesity in adult cystic fibrosis patients in the state of West Virginia, as well as examine relationships between outcomes related to cystic fibrosis and obesity.
