Andrea Bailey is a Master's of Nursing prepared, advanced practice registered nurse who serves as a clinical educator in the West Virginia University School of Nursing. In addition to her full-time faculty role, Andrea is an adviser to the West Virginia University Medicine Department of Medicine. In this capacity, she helps guide development of a robust post-acute care program as well as transiton of care program. Andrea also serves as the Lead Nurse Practitioner for the Office of Advanced Practice at West Virginia University Medicine. In this role, Andrea serves as a member of the Advanced Practice Professional Senior Council where she represents the West Virginia University Medicine nurse practitioner body. In addition to these roles, Andrea helps facilitate the Transitions of Care Committee for the West Virginia University Healthcare System. Andrea is currently pursuing a PhD in Nursing at West Virginia University.
