About Tammy Chipps
I am a Preston County, WV native and still reside there. I graduated from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry Department of Dental Hygiene in 1998. After practicing as a dental hygienist, I returned to dental school to earn my doctor of dental surgery degree. I completed my degree in 2008.
I taught part-time in the School of Dentistry’s Department of Periodontics following graduation and worked part-time in a private practice. My dental career then took me to FCC Hazelton where I was a staff dentist for more than five years.
Due to my love of teaching, I returned to the school as a full time faculty member in the Department of Restorative Dentistry in 2015.
