About Jeffson Chung
Jeffson Chung, MD received his medical degree from the School of Medicine at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. He completed a residency in otolaryngology - head and neck surgery at the University of Ottawa, and is certified by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Chung then went on to the University of Alberta, where he completed a fellowship in advanced training in head and neck oncologic surgery sponsored by the American Head & Neck Society.
Dr. Chung specialized in head and neck cancers, transoral robotic surgery, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, and has expertise in microvascular free flap reconstructions. He has research interests in survival and functional outcomes in cancer, the impact of technology on an otolaryngology practice, and the implementation of telemedicine in otolaryngology.
