Heather Henderson, EdD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Health Policy, Management and Leadership and director of assessment for the School of Public Health.  

On the national level, Henderson has served on the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) Data Advisory Committee since 2018 and was a member of the inaugural ASPPH Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Task Force. As part of her involvement with the Society for Public Health Education, she serves on the editorial board of Pedagogy in Health Promotion. 

As part of her service to West Virginia University, Henderson has served on the University Assessment Council since 2016. She is an active member of the Women’s Leadership Initiative and serves on the WVU Health Sciences Faculty Development Advisory Committee and the S.T.E.P.S. EQI committee.
