Joe is originally from Berkeley Springs, WVU and earned his bachelor's from Shepherd University. From there, he attended medical school at WVU and hasn't looked back. His hobbies include fishing, hunting, cooking, hiking and spending time with his wife and dogs. Joe's emergency medicine interests include ultrasound, wilderness medicine and rural medicine. He chose WVU because of the faculty. "They are focused on teaching and there is a broad patient population to be seen. Also, West Virginia is home and it matters to me that I can care for folks from my state."
