About Diane Gross
Diane Gross, DVM, PhD, serves as adjunct professor of epidemiology and public practice. In 2019, Dr. Gross assumed the role as the Regional Epidemiologist at the Monongalia County Health Department. Dr. Gross has over 25 years of clinical and epidemiological practice in the United States and internationally. During this time, she worked to prevent and control infectious diseases of public health importance as well as establishing and conducting surveillance, teaching, and performing research in more than 50 countries in Africa, Asia and Europe. Dr. Gross served as senior epidemiologist for the International Influenza Program at the CDC and the High Threat Pathogen Programme at the WHO Regional Office for Europe.
