Why did you choose WVU? Aside from Big 12 football, I was attracted to the WVU EM program because the program’s unique combination of academic, community, and rural medicine. I know that at the end of my training I will feel confident to see any patient in any setting regardless of age, acuity, or facility size.  

Brief bio: I am born and raised in Norman, Oklahoma and went to undergrad and medical school at University of Oklahoma. I am a true Sooner at heart. I was recently married to a beautiful fellow Okie who moved along with me to West Virginia, and we are now proud parents to a half lab, half German Shepard little girl. When I am not at the hospital, I enjoy watching college football, hiking with the family, and going to any concerts.
