Why did you choose WVU: I grew up as the youngest of 5 in a small town in northwestern PA. After finishing medical school in Philadelphia I was excited to move out of the city and find something that more closely resembled home. I chose WVU because it encapsulated everything I was looking for and more- a laidback family atmosphere surrounding a comprehensive training environment located in the heart of a college town. During my interview day there was a strong impression that the residents and faculty genuinely liked each other. I’ve since found this to be true and it has made all the difference during my transition to residency. Everyone’s door is open and eager to help in anyway they can. I could not be happier with my decision to come to WVU.

Hobbies:

Outside the hospital I spend my time golfing, catching up on Netflix, and exploring local restaurants/breweries.
