About Shay Daily
Dr. Daily oversees several evaluation and research projects and is responsible for working with the state to leverage its data and support analytic and policy needs, conducting relevant policy and evaluation research, participating in interdisciplinary research and evaluation teams, and conducting associated data analysis and program evaluation activities. His primary focus will be those activities associated with the State Opioid Response (SOR) grant via the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
Dr. Daily has a decade of experience in community health promotion, large-scale program evaluation, and social behavioral health sciences. His evaluation and research portfolio covers several diverse topics, such as pediatric asthma, substance-use prevention (youth and adult), school climate, student health, rural physical activity and infrastructure, medical interventions, and population health research methods. He has taught courses in program evaluation, community health promotion, population research methods, worksite wellness, global health, and epidemiology.
