Her responsibilities focus on activities associated with the integration of databases, coordination of data management and participation in policy and evaluation research. She also leads in the development of the WV all-payer claims data collection. She provides consultation to faculty and government partners regarding data availability, research design, analytics and interpretation of results. Additionally, she serves as a data privacy specialist with knowledge of federal statutes and legal issues concerning use of data for research and public health purposes.

Dr. Stocks’ research interests are in health services research, in particular, trends in population health, health care quality, and the effects of the health care delivery system on the public’s welfare.
