Why did you choose WVU?
WVU was an easy choice for me! On interview day, I was impressed how the residency program felt like a big family and my interviewers were very relatable. I was also drawn to the opportunities for rural electives that this program provides. On top of all this, I saw the beauty of Morgantown and West Virginia in the Fall and I was sold!
Brief bio:
I was born and raised in rural Utah. I really enjoy small town life! Before graduating high school, I spent the majority of my time playing sports, working at my parents’ veterinary clinic, and detailing cars at the local Ford dealership. After high school, I lived in Scotland for 2 years as a volunteer missionary. I completed both undergrad and medical school and the University of Utah. I enjoy watching college football, fishing, shooting, and gardening. My wife, Haley, and I are expecting our first child and we are so excited to make Morgantown our home with our toy poodle, Teddy!
