Why did you choose WVU?
The people and the mountains!

Brief bio:
I found my love for medicine late in college after completing my EMT certification and worked for the county upon graduation with a Spanish degree.  In medical school I was drawn to the variety and acuity of emergency medicine and being able to treat anyone that walks through the door. I also appreciate our position to be able to treat underserved individuals.  My academic interests include prehospital medicine, toxicology, and rural medicine.  Outside of medicine, I enjoy walking beautiful places with my dog, Sully.  I try to be outside as much as possible and enjoy hiking, camping, kayaking, skiing (water and snow), woodworking, homebrewing, soccer, and ultimate frisbee.
