About Jacqueline Sippel
Hometown: Union, Kentucky
Undergraduate institution: University of Louisville
Medical school: University of Louisville School of Medicine
Why did you choose WVU? After having spent a year at WVU as a Preliminary Surgical Resident, it became clear that not only are the residents/faculty one big family, but they also go out of their way to foster good relationships with everyone around them including nursing, environmental staff, and other programs. As I got to know everyone more, I knew that this was the place for me and a family I would be proud to join.
Brief bio: I was born in the Chicago suburbs and grew up there until I moved to Massachusetts and then Kentucky. I went to undergrad and medical school at the University of Louisville, KY and initially came to WVU to complete a prelim year in General Surgery. During my preliminary year, I applied to EM, and I am proud to report I was given the opportunity to join the WVU EM family. A random fun fact about me is I have visited 8 countries so far and plan to add many more!
