Community Experience

1) Volunteer at MTB Himalaya 2015
Volunteered for MTB Himalaya’s (Asia’s top mountain bike race) School Program which was a part of the UN Global Goals mission –Education. Travelled to remote villages in Himachal Pradesh, India to spread awareness on the Right to Education, Environment Conservation, Oral Hygiene, Benefits of Cycling.

2) Coordinator in the Oral Cancer Awareness Exhibition- “No more cancer!”, during the Oral Cancer Awareness Month organized by SDCH, Rishikesh, India under the aegis of Indian Dental Association & Indian Prosthodontic Society.

Travelled to rural areas around Manipal, Karnataka, India to provide basic dental health care in remote areas.

I come from a town called Shimla, nestled in the lap of the Himalayan mountain range, India. Shimla, the erstwhile British summer capital, is not much different from Morgantown and that’s why on my first trip here I felt very much at home. I chose WVU School of Dentistry because I felt it will offer me the best path to what I seek to be a well-rounded Endodontist, under the guidance of a world-class faculty. My hobbies outside of dentistry are hiking, traveling and the Les Mills work outs.
