About David Desta
My name is David Desta. I was born in Ethiopia. I have done most of my schooling here in the US. I am currently living with my wife in Potomac, MD.
I have come to WVU School of Dentistry because I have heard a lot of good things about the school. I am excited to be part of such an institution.
My goal is to successfully complete my specialty program in endodontics, during which I would strive to establish a good and long lasting relationship with my colleagues as well as the entire school community.
The career in dentistry is exciting. The need for oral healthcare in our communities is tremendous. Oral health and systemic health go hand in hand; therefore, addressing the Oral Health issue has kept me motivated.
In my spare time I like to do different things such as hiking with friends and bringing along my dog, visiting friends and hanging out, reading, caring for plants in the back yard, and so on.
