University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Pittsburgh, PA - 2012-2015
- Evaluated both the short- and long-term outcomes of percutaneous cholecystostomy for the treatment of acute cholecystitis in the cirrhotic population. The aim of the study was not only to compare the outcomes, but the natural history after percutaneous cholecystostomy in this high-risk patient population. The abstract was presented at the AASLD Liver Meeting 2014 and published in Hepatology.
- Assessed the efficacy and safety of single balloon enteroscopy assisted therapeutic endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in patients with Roux-en-Y reconstruction. It was published in Digestive Diseases and Sciences in 2014.
