She attended Wright State University Boonshoft SOM, where she completed her MD program and participated in the Wright Rural Medicine Scholars Program.  She continues her interest in rural health and primary care with WVU's Internal Medicine/Pediatrics Residency Program.  When not at work, she enjoys hiking and exploring National Parks.
