Why did you choose WVU? I loved every minute of my WVU interview! After meeting the team, I immediately saw how well I would fit in here and was sure it was the place I wanted to call home. The dedicated and engaging teaching staff and the down-to-earth residents are the reason why I chose WVU. I am honored to be a part of the family!
Brief bio: My medical journey began right out of high school, when I embarked on a 6-year B.S./M.D. program. I could see myself pursuing a career in almost every specialty, but after spending just a few hours in the ED, I knew Emergency Medicine was the field for me. Outside of the hospital, I enjoy checking out local coffee shops, searching for hiking trails, and scoping out the nearby music scene. The Midwest will always be home, and I’m ready to trade in Ohio’s rolling hills for West Virginia’s mountains.
