About Ashley Foreman
Hometown: Bethany Beach, Delaware
Undergraduate institution: Johns Hopkins University
Medical school: Thomas Jefferson University
Why did you choose WVU? I was looking for a program that had the right balance of autonomy and supervision, as well as a place that had an academic focus as well as the opportunity to practice in a rural, community setting. WVU was perfect for this! It also didn’t hurt that the residents and faculty were some of the coolest people around and made me feel right at home from the very beginning.
Brief bio: Ashley was born in York, PA, but soon moved to the Delaware beaches, where she spent most of her childhood soaking up the sun. She lived the city life for eight years, living in Baltimore while at Hopkins for her B.S. in Neuroscience, then in Philadelphia for medical school, before she ultimately found her way to Morgantown, WV!
In her free time, you can find her playing piano and guitar, perusing shops in order to add to her record collection, running and laying by the lake, and doing anything art-related.
