BIOGRAPHY
About Breanna Adkins
Narrative:
Breanna joined WVU in 2021. Her clinical background includes addressing the needs of children and families in home-based early intervention and skilled nursing rehabilitation. Her clinical interests include pediatrics, development across the lifespan, collaborating with families, and feeding and swallowing. Breanna is one of the only occupational therapists in West Virginia to be Board Certified in Pediatrics through the American Occupational Therapy Association. Breanna is committed to creating authentic learning experiences for her students within the occupational therapy program by implementing hands-on learning activities in her courses. Breanna also serves as the Chair of the Admissions Committee for the division.
