About Tracy Toman
Biography:
Ms. Toman joined the faculty at WVU in 2018. She currently oversees school-age telepractice services in partnership with Integrated Speech Solutions and West Virginia public schools. Her clinical expertise is in providing school-age services via telepractice, primarily in the areas of speech sound disorders and language disorders. As part of the Integrated Speech Solutions team, Ms. Toman provided trainings for virtual services statewide to WV public school speech-language pathologists during the COVID-19 pandemic. She has also received an ACE Award for continuing education from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and a Distinguished Early Career Professional (ECP) Certificate from ASHA in 2020.

Ms. Toman’s clinical expertise includes speech sound disorders and language disorders for school-age populations. She engages in active clinical practice through the WVU Speech and Hearing Center.
Current Service:
Ms. Toman serves as the co-faculty advisor for the WVU chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) and the WVU chapter of the Bilingual Language and Literacy Investigative and Networking Group (BLLING). She is a member of the West Virginia Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation (WVSH Foundation) Board of Trustees since fall 2020 and is the WVU representative for the West Virginia Speech-Language-Hearing Association (WVSHA) since fall 2021.
