Publications LinkAbout Anne Swisher
Narrative:
Dr. Swisher joined the faculty in 1994 and served as the Division's Academic Coordinator of Clinical Education until 1997, and Graduate and Distance Education Coordinator from 1997-2010. Currently, she serves as the Director of Scholarship Development for the Division. She teaches in the areas of cardiovascular and pulmonary physical therapy, acute care, pathophysiology, and exercise science. She also coordinates the student research projects. She has been a certified Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Clinical Specialist since 2001. She was awarded the Catherine Worthingtham Fellowship to the APTA in 2016. She is a past Fulbright Scholar to Sydney, Australia and Dublin, Ireland.

Research Interests
Dr. Swisher's research focuses on the influence of physical activity and exercise on function and quality of life for persons with chronic diseases. Please see CV for specific examples of projects.
