About Kelly Ross
Dr. Kelly Ross completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (2005) and MD from the University Of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (2010). She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (2013), Hematology/Oncology Fellowship (2015) and her Bone Marrow Transplant Fellowship at the University of Colorado in Denver, Colorado (2016).
During her academic career, Dr. Ross received several prestigious awards, including a Fulbright Scholarship. She is a member of the American Society of Hematology, American Society of Bone Marrow Transplantation and the West Virginia Oncology Society. She is Board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology, and currently serves as chair of the Transfusion Committee at WVU as well as serving on the Promotion and Tenure Committee. She has several published and submitted publications.
Dr. Ross joined the Hematology/Oncology Section at West Virginia University as an Assistant Professor in the Osborn Hematopoietic Malignancy and Transplantation Program (WVU Cancer Institute) in 2016. Her particular areas of interest include acute myeloid leukemia and umbilical cord blood transplant.
She speaks English and German and was a member of the Colorado Symphony Orchestra Chorus prior to coming to WVU.
